I am the Catering Manager at Eastleigh College. With my team I look after the refectory, which serves breakfast and lunch, our coffee shop which serves all day through to 20:30 and any hospitality needs of our client. Recent and upcoming events include a cream tea for 130 at the Student Awards, a BBQ for 200 for the Staff Awards and a Grab & Go station for up to 800 new learners on their Welcome Day.
I have been with Edwards & Ward since December 2019, but at the college since 2013.
Maybe a cliché, but no two days are the same. That definitely keeps things interesting. We have such a varied range of customers. I enjoy getting to know them and what they like, or dislike, as best I can. It makes it so much easier to meet and ideally exceed their expectations. I love seeing and hearing positive reactions to changes we make based on just understanding the customer.

A day off invariably begins with a little lie in! After a coffee or two my wife and I would take our dog for a walk in the New Forest, stopping off for a spot of brunch on the way home. In the afternoon, a trip to the local farm shop to stock up for an evening BBQ with friends and family. If only all days off could be like this….
I would love to explore all Japan has to offer. It has the perfect mix of culture, history, incredible natural landscapes, modern comfort and of course, amazing food!
